Richard’s Painting is expanding into the Wilmington market and is looking for the right owner to build and lead a locally owned painting company.
Founded in 1999, Richard’s Painting brings more than 25 years of real painting-industry experience. Franchise owners receive an established brand, protected territory, hands-on training, marketing guidance, ongoing coaching and access to RPX, our proprietary system for creating and managing estimates, customers and jobs.
Our business model serves residential and commercial customers while operating with trained employees rather than subcontracted painting crews. Owners can begin as a home-based business with relatively low overhead and grow their team as sales increase.
You do not need to be a professional painter. You do need to be actively involved, comfortable working with customers, prepared to lead employees and willing to follow an established system. This is not designed as a passive investment during the startup stage.
The initial franchise fee is $39,950. Qualified candidates may be eligible for franchisor financing of $19,950 of the franchise fee with a $20,000 down payment, subject to approval and the terms contained in the current Franchise Disclosure Document.
The estimated total initial investment is $60,150–$117,500. We are seeking candidates with at least $50,000 in available liquid capital so they can properly establish and operate the business.

Franchise owners receive a protected territory, access to the Richard’s Painting brand, RPX software, operating systems, training and marketing resources.
