Start-Up Description
Kanga’s Indoor Playcenter is the American branch of Lollipops Playland, an established
Australian franchise model that has revolutionized the children’s indoor playcenter market.
We’ve been developing and fine tuning the model since it began in 1993 and we’re inviting
prospective franchisees to join us in launching the “Kanga’s” brand in the USA.
At present we have 30 Lollipops Playland sites open across Australia, New Zealand and
Indonesia with many more in development.
We’ve had over 15 million visitors, so we know we’re doing something right!
We focus on safe, clean, high quality play equipment with outstanding customer service to
back it up. Our playcenters are the leaders in the industry in their local areas and the big
bonus for us is that we’re attractive to the high-income, mid to high socio-economic market
which wants top quality and is willing to pay for it. As opposed to food franchises which
attract a lot of negative publicity, we are a guilt free attraction to parents. In fact, with kids
running, climbing and developing their coordination at our playcenters we like to think we
are doing our small part to help prevent childhood obesity.
