James Hargrove is the owner and CEO of Mosquito Marshals of South Mississippi – founded in 2017. He graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance.
After a 20+ year career in the beer business working and managing wholesale distribution across Mississippi, James decided to venture off and pursue ownership of his own company. Born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, where the mosquito is known as the “official bird” of the region, the work of Mosquito Marshals intrigued him. When the opportunity arose to provide a public health service that helps limit and control the mosquito population to manageable levels, he took it!
Through experience and research, James along with the Mosquito Marshals team have been able to find precise solutions to eliminate mosquitoes, ticks and fleas – in turn protecting the communities YOU live in. We are thrilled to offer services that reduce the spread of vector borne diseases and illnesses such as West Nile Virus and other deadly encephalitis diseases that affect humans and pets alike.
James resides in Ocean Springs, MS with his wife Kimme and two children Mary Kathryn (10) and James III (9). Kimme also is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. She serves as VP of Sales & Marketing and is an integral part of the chemistry behind what we do.
