Business Description
Manufacturer/importer of products for wholesale to specialty stores. Currently products being sold to national wholesaler CWI and some local accounts. Cottage Brands includes other lines besides "Humble Bumble". The company is at a pivotal spot. I uploaded to RangeMe to get a national retailer- will let you take this live. Would be great for semi-permanent showroom at the Atlanta Marketplace, representation by sale reps, and other shows like Pigeon Forge, TN. Local shows like Philadelphia Gift show do about $10,000 (down 50 %)at the show still but the market has changed to more mass market and maybe even an Amazon webpage or sell direct website. Check out our Castile Soap- the only in the country that has infused Goat's Milk (available at Kimberton Whole Foods). If you are artsy and crafty you will be great at product design but also need to mass produce. I have quality equipment but you will need to upgrade to grow the business. I know how to upgrade so I will show you the way. Many of you have dreamed of this type of business- if you spent years working on production/recipes/design- you would be unlikely to get this far. The business needs someone to come in as a closer now to take it mainstream. I have over $20,000 in equipment & over $20,000 in raw materials & packaging.

Market Outlook / Competition
Specialty retail is shrinking- that is what the business is based on (must grow). The company is already uploaded to RangeMe to get larger customers (just not taken live). A permanent booth at the Atlanta Marketplace would make the company boom. A sell direct website, and possible Amazon landing page would be great. We have some product the competition cannot figure out how its made. Our Goat's Milk Castile Soap is available at Kimberton Whole Foods.
Opportunities for Growth
In order to sign larger accounts you will ultimately need another $30,000 in equipment. Don't spend this up front- wait for reorders. If you get a $100,000 order you can still get done in a month- ultimately this way of operating will prove to labor intensive. I'll tell you what equipment to upgrade to when time comes. I am selling cheap. The $40,000 does not even cover the price of the equipment, raw materials, and finished stock. The recipe book and "good will" have to be worth much more.
