Application of Wet & Set tape is simple; it requires only tap water. Once Wet & Set is quickly immersed in clean water, it activates the quick drying adhesive integrating into the wallboard face paper, creating an airtight bond at the wallboard panel joint without the necessity of first applying compound. Traditional taping methods require waiting up to 24 hours for this phase to dry, Wet & Set dries rapidly in less than an hour; allowing bed coat application. Wet & Set is permanently adhered to the wall within an hour. The weekend warrior or contractor now has a high-speed process for taping which requires minimal skill.
