In 2013, SkyOp.com, a Drone Training and Education Company, was launched. Beyond providing direct training, SkyOp also produces and licenses courseware and offers Train-the-Instructor programs used by numerous colleges, STEM high schools, and enterprise corporations. Today, SkyOp has expanded its reach to over 100 high schools and colleges across 33 states in the USA. Our business model allows us to operate nationwide and can be based anywhere. SkyOp began at the dawn of the drone industry, and for more than the last decade, SkyOp has been a leader in the Drone Industry with a proven business model.
In 2016, The Tech Garden and GeniusNY.com, funded by the State of New York, launched a drone accelerator program in Syracuse, New York. The program selected six finalists from 230 drone companies from twenty countries worldwide. SkyOp received a significant investment of $250,000. Over the next year, SkyOp developed a cloud-based learning management system, initially licensing it with 300 hours of curriculum and providing training to colleges, high schools, and corporations.
