Roy's Power Equipment Service has been around since about 2007 when I was working out of my garage. On Jan. of 2000 I moved into this 1400 square foot shop with heat and internet. You cannot get a better landlord and extending the lease has not been a problem. I have a Facebook page under that name. Unfortunately someone hi-jacked it many years ago so I can't post to it anymore and Facebook has been no help in getting it back but you can still refer people to it. I started out buying and selling used power equipment then when people found out I can fix the stuff they called for service to the point that I am pretty much 99.9% service. I will occasionally sell a used machine but not until we totally serviced it and I then warranty it. We don't deal with junk and everyone knows that. I have a top notch mechanic on staff as well as a pick up/delivery person who works as needed. The potential exists to increase service to ATVs and other types of equipment as we get occasional calls for that and I don't believe there is anyone around who does that. We have a 14 foot aluminum trailer with a fold down ramp for that. We provide seasonal service/tune ups in addition to repairs on lawn mowers, tractors, snowblowers, generators and other power equipment including 2 stroke items. The potential is there to branch out into ATV's as we have done some of them in addition to golf carts and other different things that may come up. I am currently an authorized service provider for Westinghouse, Champion and Firman generators. I have accounts with national OEM parts providers so get my parts at dealer cost for most items and still get discounted prices for other things such as Deere. (Deere is very protective of their prices). I have two large pneumatic lift tables that are made for large pieces of power equipment and also ATV's. The shop is fully stocked with tens of thousands of dollars worth of parts, equipment, hardware, tools including mostly Milwaukee battery powered products. I don't have an accurate count of my loyal customer base but my list of contacts is at 3564 and the great majority of those are customers. This is a true turn key operation where you can net over $100K annually. Our mottos is that we provide expert and honest service at a fair price. This is currently the start of "prime time" when the mowers, tractors, weed wackers, etc come in and the money will follow.
