The firm represents clients in the surrogacy process; either people growing their families via use of a surrogate or women who want to serve as surrogates. Washington law requires that both Intended Parents and Surrogates have separate legal representation. We also work with clients adopting babies and children in a wide variety of circumstances (newborns, relatives, disruptions, stepparents, foreign born children) both in Washington and nationwide. The firm specializes in assisting U.S. citizens living here or abroad in finalizing their adoptions of foreign children so that they can obtain U.S. citizenship for them. Working closely with immigration specialists, we help obtain Washington court orders to support their immigration applications.
