Landscape Maintenance Company for Sale - Residential & Commercial
Business Description
Selling the landscape maintenance division of my full-service landscape company. I started a landscape design/build company, TBC Landscaping, in Jan. of 2021 focusing on various installation work. As the installation work grew, I took on recurring landscape maintenance customers weighted to residential customers. Currently, both residential and commercial (25% revenue) accounts are serviced.
Included in the asking price are all of the recurring maintenance accounts, box truck, and maintenance equipment. A list of all of the commercial-grade equipment can be provided and mainly consists of an Echo for small engines, a Ferris SRS Z1 36" stand-on (approx. 200 hours), a SCAG SFC 30" (approx. 30 hours), and a 2015 GMC Savana with landscape ramps.
Residential accounts include two types: basic lawn care and full landscape service. Both are offered at weekly and bi-weekly intervals. Lawn care service includes mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing all surfaces. Full-service landscape service includes basic lawn care and shrub and tree (12' height max) pruning. Lawn weed control and fertilizer are included in both service offerings. Also, weed control in landscape beds is included for full landscape service customers.
The business can easily be run by a single person looking to start with a solid, high-end account portfolio. Also, these accounts can be easily added to an existing company looking to grow its customer base.
I am selling the business because I have to relocate my family out of state due to personal reasons. There are additional assets from the installation business for sell, such as a 2015 F-450 C&C with hydraulic 6x12 dump body, Liberty 6x12 dump trailer (10K lbs GVWR), custom built 6x12 dump trailer (14k lbs GVWR), Kaufman 7x14 dump trailer (16k lbs GVWR), Vermeer s925tx with diesel (1,825 hours), 2015 Chevy 1500 LT (260,000 miles), and other small engine equipment and tools. Attachments for the Vermeer 925 include a smooth bucket, toothed bucket, forks, Blue Diamond Power Rake, hitch plate, root ball bucket, and hydraulic root/debris grapple.

- The maintenance side of the business is growing from word of mouth and referrals. Good communication, attention to detail, and professional service have enabled rapid growth. I am selling the company due to family relocation needs.

- Customers continually ask for add-on enhancement services, such as mulch/pine straw, plant install, sod, and so on. Additionally, a buyer with installation experience with drainage, irrigation, hardscaping, and low-voltage lighting would be able to continue our success with installation work.

- Can support the buyer in introductions to customers, review account needs, and work with them to explain customer expectations. Currently, we use Jobber to manage maintenance accounts and can transfer accounts to the buyer. Priority for me as the seller is to provide the buyer with the knowledge to be successful in their business and in serving customers.
