Jewelry CAD Software Platform, Source Code and IP
Business Description
Jewelry CAD Software Platform, Source Code and IP
Our Client has developed and owns a professional jewelry design and manufacturing software platform, offered here as a sale of the software and intellectual property rather than a sale of the operating company. What conveys is the complete vertical application used by the jewelry trade for design, modification, documentation and preparation for production, together with its source code, proprietary tool libraries, online training academy, website infrastructure, digital assets and licensing structures. Because the operating company itself is not being sold, the Cash Flow and Gross Revenue fields above are nominal entries required by the listing form; asset level revenue is provided to a qualified buyer under a non-disclosure agreement.
What separates this platform from the rest of its category is its foundation. Most jewelry design software on the market is built on the same widely used general purpose modeling engine. Our client took a different route, licensing a professional mid range modeling kernel and developing the entire jewelry specific layer on top of it over a period of years. A buyer acquires a technically differentiated product that is finished, shipping and selling today, rather than a development project.
The tool set is built around jewelry rather than assembled from generic commands, and it is deeper than any summary of it. Representative examples include ring construction and sizing to European and Swiss standards, gemstone placement and pave arrays, setting and cutter geometry, organic and ornamental modeling, halos, chains and pendant bails, milgrain and texturing, sprue creation and preparation for three dimensional printing, drawing sheets, bills of material, and stone and metal weight calculation. The product exists in fourteen languages, of which English and Spanish are fully maintained; the remainder are complete but carry minor updates outstanding from later releases.
Its users run from independent designers and custom jewelers to manufacturers, retailers, educators, students and serious hobbyists, and the strongest commercial argument is one manufacturers recognize immediately. Jewelry designs are constantly resized, restoned, adapted and reproduced, and where the construction history of a model is preserved a manufacturer can modify and reproduce an existing design instead of rebuilding it from nothing. That turns a design library into a reusable production asset, and it opens the manufacturer market rather than only the designer market.
The reason this opportunity exists is straightforward, and our client states it plainly: development has consistently outpaced commercialization. The current release is mature and shipping, but it has never had a dedicated sales organization, a funded marketing program, an international reseller network, or a formal channel into manufacturers and schools. For a strategic buyer the arithmetic is clean. The software sells at a single permanent license price with a modest per license third party technology cost behind it, leaving a very high gross margin, and further revenue already exists in major version upgrades, an annual maintenance and support program carrying the members area, online academy and release downloads, and private and group coaching. None of it has had systematic commercial effort applied to it.
Our client is selling in order to place a completed platform with a strategic buyer who has the sales, marketing and distribution infrastructure to take it to the market it deserves. Confidentiality is a concern for the seller while the right buyer is identified, so the specific city, exact ZIP and name of the business are shared only after a prospective buyer signs an NDA and is vetted, and the location and ZIP shown above reflect the broader market area rather than the operating location.
NDA is required to secure a comprehensive Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) crafted by ProNova Partners.

- Facilities & Assets
- No premises, equipment or leases convey. The assets are digital and can be operated from anywhere. The application runs on Windows; there is no native Apple Macintosh version, and Macintosh users run it under Parallels Desktop.
- Market Outlook / Competition
- The category is specialized and competitive. The better known products are MatrixGold, owned by Stuller Settings, 3Design of France, RhinoArtisan, and Jewel Beetle. Those products carry larger commercial organizations, wider reseller networks and longer market presence. Our client competes on depth of jewelry specific function, practical production knowledge, a differentiated technical foundation, and the speed with which a small focused development structure can answer a customer need.
- Opportunities for Growth
- Worldwide marketing through the online jewelry publications, jewelry influencers and the major social media channels, none of which has ever been used systematically; a dedicated sales and marketing organization; international distributors and resellers; manufacturer programs built around design reuse; school and education licensing; and expanded training and coaching. The product already draws continuing international visitor traffic without any dedicated marketing program behind it.
