- Market Outlook / Competition
- We are in a Prime location, sitting on the corner of Hwy 50 and Chestnut St. in Downtown Seymour, and have Schneck Hospital one block behind us. We have been a restaurant in the same location for over 80 yrs. There are several downtown, locally owned restaurants, and we all get along and there is enough variety that business has done well. Our hours of operation are currently 7:am-2:00 pm Mon - Sat. Closed Sundays and major holidays. Breakfast until 10 am every morning and lunch all day.
- Opportunities for Growth
- Growth opportunities are the hours. We have had different hours over the years. You could open Sundays (we have done that in December) and people love it. You could open nights (we used to be open Friday nights for steak night) people loved it. We just got worn down, having a small staff and having to work a lot of hours. Cons is finding people that want to work .
