The Durango Gourmet Popcorn name is well known and established in the Durango and Four Corners area. Durango Gourmet Popcorn started as a brick and mortar in downtown Durango Colorado in August 2023. The brick and mortar was closed in February 2025 because of the high rent cost in downtown Durango. We moved the business and production to a new smaller kitchen in Lake Vallecito to focus on wholesale gourmet popcorn and the event business selling gourmet popcorn and kettle corn to several businesses and at local events in the Four Corners area. The wholesale popcorn business is in its infancy meaning we have just started to establish retailers and are growing that business weekly. The event business has been running since August 2023 and we have well established connections with many of the local events. This business has a huge upside opportunity and has low overhead whereas the new owners have the potential to take over a well established name and grow this business exponentially and build the business into a high income producer. Shaved Ice: We have two shaved ice machines and enough flavor supplies to last for multiple seasons. We make all of our flavors from concentrate enabling us to offer 20-50 different flavors.
