Florida licensed Certified General Contractor licensed for all forms of contracting: Residential, multi-family, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, framing, government contracting (GC has the special government quality control certification), site work, etc. etc. is seeking a joint venture. Licensed to do construction and contracting anywhere in Florida. NOT looking for somebody wanting to start out by building 1 or a few houses, doing some remodeling, etc. IMPORTANT: GC is not currently active and does not have ongoing projects/revenues/subcontractors. GC has other benefits including substantial business and real estate expertise. Open to various joint ventures, but an ideal situation would be a substantial $ investor or fund looking to purchase or get into FL development, or the current owner of a large property, development or land who wishes to substantially reduce costs/increase margins, by having a GC partner or in-house. A partner with this GC would also have the added benefit of being able to take the exam and get their GC license after "working" under the GC and getting the required time and experience to qualify for their own license.
Also, an active out-of-state contractor wishing to do contracting in Florida and having large projects or potential work lined up would be a good situation and could lead to their qualifying for the Florida GC exam. This contractor would be well-funded and have employees and subcontractors already in place or ready to ramp up. "Asking price" was a required field - the actual JV terms and "price" to the GC will depend on the details, to be discussed.
