- I will tell you honestly that the mattress industry is current experiencing low sales numbers but it’s cyclical like a lot of other industries. We came off of record high sales during and immediately after Covid so a decline was expected just as an increase is also expected in the near future. We have a few competitors in the area but we all seem to have our own niche that distinguishes us from one another. We typically sell to a higher end customer looking for higher quality products. We don’t play games or use gimmicks to sell our products.

- Our location is great and our rent is very reasonable. That being said, we are located on a secondary street so visibility is limited. You could move the business to a much more visible spot and certainly increase sales but we’ve been in our current location for 10 years and a lot of our customers are repeat buyers and know where we’re located. Another opportunity for growth would be opening multiple locations. You can easily open a new showroom at a very low cost and store your inventory at the main store. Simple Advertising would also generate growth.
