Ed's Flying Service, Inc. (EFS) is an FBO based in Alamogordo, New Mexico which was founded in 1960 (incorporated in 1977) by our Father, Edward J. Pavelka (deceased). EFS a turnkey, C-Corp, has been operated by Ed's son, Robert Pavelka (co-owner), solely since Ed's passing over 10 years ago. Lisa Pavelka Stone, Ed's daughter and co-owner, handles the accounting for the company.

FAR licenses and aircraft:
• FAR 135 Air Taxi Certificate, issued 1974: Cessna U206G, N732RU.
• FAR 145 Repair Station Certificate, issued 1971: Limited Radio & Instrument installation & repair.
• FAR 61 Flight School, established 1960.
• 1946 Cessna 120 NC76385.

Buildings and hangars:
o Office & main maintenance, 4500 sq-ft, Built 1966, additions 1979, New roof 2012.
o Building “B” closed shed, tug parking only.
o Building “C” parts, storage, maintenance, 3000 sq-ft, built 1960, extensive door repair 2019.
Shop Equipment and Maintenance:
• Shop equipment includes all parts and tooling necessary for most everyday major and minor airframe, engine, and avionics repair and installation.
• Current majority of avionics revenue includes installation of ADS-B transponder systems, 64 total systems to date.
• Current air taxi is near zero, due to Bob Pavelka operating as a one-man shop.
