Chris Westgate

Introduction

Our President Chris Westgate has over thirty years’ experience in Business with a proven track record of progressive management growth, financial responsibilities and ownership. He has significant experience with valuation, credit, budgeting, negotiating and strategic planning.

Chris has more than twenty years’ experience with Mergers & Acquisitions, Business sales and Commercial and Residential Real Estate. He has experience with investors from Private Equity, Family offices and private Investors.

In addition, he has been a founder or participant in several startup Aviation, Real Estate and Construction businesses. He has a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with Concentrations in Economics, Finance and Strategic Management.

Chris is past President of the Chicago Booth South Florida alumni association where he is able to network with the top business leaders in the world. He has also served on the board of the University of Chicago Alumni Association.

He was awarded the prestigious CBI designation (Certified Business Intermediary). This designation is only awarded after three years of experience and over 60 hours of classroom instruction in addition to a complex examination.

Chris has also held the following FINRA securities licenses: 7, 24, 63 and 79 and was a Senior Managing Director at Mid-Market Securities based in New York. Chris opened the first Florida office for Mid-Market Securities.
He is a former US Navy Officer and Enlisted service member. He spent seven years in the U.S. Navy and served during the Gulf War. Chris is fluent in Spanish and has extensive experience in Latin America, Asia and Europe.
