Pioneering designer and developer of insurance claims processing/claims adjudication software, physician practice management and billing software. Developed software systems for Computer Sciences Corporation at the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL; Electronic Data Systems (EDS), owned by Ross Perot, for California Blue Cross Blue Shield in San Francisco, CA; Control Data Corporation in Dallas, TX.
Serial Entrepreneur having owned successful physician practice management software companies in Texas and Mississippi, Medical Billing Services in Texas and Mississippi and authorized business partner for leading practice management and electronic health records software companies: Greenway Medical Technologies and eClinicalWorks. Designed, programmed, sold and implemented his own proprietary MDlogix Medical Office Management software in over 200 medical practices and facilities across the U.S. Was a Chief Operating Officer for Companion Technologies of South Carolina, a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina, managing over 500 medical practices’ systems in three southern states.
