Since I am affiliated with Transworld Business Advisors (TBA), we offer a network of listed businesses, as well as potential buyers. TBA has over 300 agents in the USA and many others in English speaking nations. My affiliation is with Transworld Business Advisors of Louisville. We cover the state of Kentucky as well as portions of Illinois. We are licensed in Illinois. Kentucky does not require a business broker license, but I am licensed to sell real estate.
My background is fairly extensive working for Fortune 50 companies right through ownership of my own business. I have started up manufacturing plants in the beverage and food industry as well as the capital equipment industry. M prior titles include President/CEO, General Manager, National Sales Manager, Products Division Manager and Production Manager.

My role as your business advisor is to provide you with trust that I will protect your confidentiality both during and after our engagement. Once we move to the process of selling your business my role is to consider how you take discretionary income from your business and document as an adjustment to your tax return profit. I then apply a multiple from a "sold database" to arrive at a Likely Selling Price. Once we agree on a listing price, I must develop a headline that attracts potential buyers without giving away the location or name of your business.
NDA's are mandatory to protect the Sellers proprietary information. I will remain with the process right through closing. This usually includes getting a Letter of Intent and/or a Purchase Agreement. In some cases, we can get multiple offers, so I help decide which offer suits the seller's needs most completely.
