The TCA team are experts in conducting business and real estate market valuations as well as structuring sale-leaseback arrangements whereas the business is sold and the building or facility is in turn “leased back” to the business purchaser. The real estate is then sold separately to private investors/ groups which allows the owner to capitalize on both the sale of the business and real estate at exit.

Mark Griffin, CM&AA, CCIM is the Managing Principal at Topsail Capital Advisors and a graduate of Clemson University with over 20 years of business M&A and commercial real estate advisory and brokerage experience. Mr. Griffin holds the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) designation through the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA). This coveted designation is earned by only 2% elite M&A advisors and the only in the industry recognized by FINRA, the highest-regarded self-regulatory organization that regulates member brokerage firms and exchange markets in the US. In addition, Mr. Griffin holds the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation through the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute of which less than 6% of commercial real estate investment advisors and brokers earn. Mr. Griffin and his team’s unique experience allows TCA to represent their clients in the highest regard if an exit includes the business as well as the real estate that the business occupies. Mr. Griffin is also the Managing Principal of a subsidiary company SperryCGA-Griffin Partners which is an affiliation of Sperry Commercial Global, a leading national commercial real estate company with over 65 offices throughout the US.
