The Fountainhead Firm works closely with owners/management of lower middle market companies to prepare and position for sales transactions with the goal of maximizing valuation. Our services are tailored to client needs; we meet with owners, management and/or advisors, we evaluate the business and we provide recommendations. If an owner is ready to sell and the business affairs are in order, then we can work strictly as a Broker/M&A Advisor to position and promote the sale of the business; alternatively, if there are certain milestones we or the owner feel the business should achieve prior to a sales transaction, we can work with the owner/business to provide business advisory or contractual CFO services to guide the business forward towards an ultimate sale and exit.

Introduction

Over 30 years of financial and accounting experience with broad range of business M&A transactional knowledge. We work closely with our clients serving in capacity as either Business Broker/M&A Advisor if ready to immediately move towards a sales transactions, or Contractual CFO/Controller if longer term, more consistent, guidance is necessary to achieve certain goals prior to beginning the sales process in order to maximize company value. Either way, we strive to ensure each client is informed of the process and progress and is completely satisfied with the services being provided.

Over the years we have developed a significant amount of experience and knowledge in the Oilfield Services Industry, spending countless time in the West Texas and New Mexico areas of the Permian Basin working with clients in both capacity as a Broker/Advisor and as Contractual CFO/Controller, where considered a valuable member of management teams. Though we have built a strong base in the Oilfield Services sector, we are not limited to that industry as we have the experience and transactional knowledge necessary to provide services across a multitude of industries. We are confident in our ability to guide owners through for some what will be, the largest transaction of their lifetime.

Our founder began his career with KPMG, in audit, where he gained invaluable experience primarily in the Energy Industry, in both traditional audits as well as transactional due diligence services, in Houston, Texas and various locations around the world. It was this experience and desire to be more involved with business transactions that led him to join Coach USA, a publicly traded consolidator of the Ground Transportation Industry, in the late 1990's, in the acquisitions group where he was involved with numerous successful transactions. While there he was intimately involved with the details of each transaction, gaining full transaction life-cycle knowledge, and rising to the position of Vice President Acquisitions. It was this knowledge and his love of working with business owners to guide them through a transaction that led him to his first independent venture in 2002. Today his passion remains as strong as ever when working closely with clients to understand their goals in developing an exit strategy leading to a successful transaction.
