Introduction
I started Oak Capital Advisors in 2016 to do one thing well -- help business owners in North Carolina to get through a sale the right way. That means an honest accurate valuation, a confidential process, and a representation that's focused entirely on a successful timely transaction. No conflicts of interest. No junior associates. Just experienced M&A from someone who as worked on both sides of the table.
My background isn't just in brokerage. It's in business itself. I have extensive experience as a CEO, COO, and CFO of companies ranging in size from $20 million to $550 million, and reinvigorated several mature companies cross a variety of verticals, including automotive, machine tool, die casting, lubrication, and oil and gas, led two European and multiple US. Acquisitions, established joint ventures with two Japanese manufacturing companies, and successfully launched multiple business initiatives. During my career I have served on multiple Board of Directors, including Toyota Georgetown's supplier development group, and as an advisor to Purdue's School of Industrial Technology. I have also owned a mid market company and I understand the cash flow needs of a small business.
One notable assignment serving as COO of Southern Grind, Zac Brown's custom knife company, while consulting for Zac Brown's Southern Ground family of companies and helping implement effective management systems across all of the group.
Raleigh has been home for over 20 years, and since founding Oak Capital Advisors I have valued and sold multiple companies across a variety of verticals, including automotive repair, furniture manufacturing, restaurants, specialty retail stores, IT management, medical and chiropractic offices, and many others. My goal is to find the right buyer for the business and create a win-win-win scenario for my brokerage clients.
