Broker Biography
Introduction
I am an independent broker and advisor serving clients nationwide, with experience across a mixed client base that includes both business owners and acquisition-minded buyers. My work spans construction, manufacturing, healthcare services, business services, technology, consumer businesses, home services, and franchise-related opportunities, and my approach is grounded in practical execution, disciplined process management, and candid advice. My background includes business operations as a former self-funded searcher as well as advising buyers in home services and franchise transactions. That experience gives me a perspective that many intermediaries do not have. I understand what buyers look for, how they evaluate risk, what drives conviction, and what tends to create friction during the process. I also understand the seller side: the emotional weight of an exit, the importance of confidentiality, the challenge of positioning a business properly, and the need to balance speed, value, and certainty.
I work with founder-owned businesses, family-owned businesses, franchise operators, owner-operators preparing for retirement, and growth companies seeking liquidity. On the buyer side, I regularly think in terms of fit across individual buyers, search funds, independent sponsors, private equity groups, family offices, and other acquisition-oriented investors. That broad perspective helps me run a more effective process, whether I am representing a seller looking to maximize value or assisting a buyer searching for the right opportunity. My advisory style is direct, relationship-driven, and highly practical. I believe clients deserve honest feedback, not vague optimism. I focus on the details that matter: valuation framing, narrative positioning, clean financials, buyer qualification, process discipline, negotiation support, and diligence coordination. A successful transaction is not just about finding interest in a business. It is about creating the right narrative, reaching the right counterparties, managing confidentiality, setting expectations early, and keeping the process moving through closing without unnecessary disruption.
For sellers, I help prepare the business for market, shape the story behind the opportunity, build effective buyer materials, and run a confidential outreach and screening process designed to attract qualified interest. I work to create competitive tension where appropriate while maintaining discipline around fit, seriousness, and execution risk. My goal is not just to generate conversations. It is to help sellers evaluate the right options and pursue an outcome that aligns with their financial goals, transition priorities, and desired level of certainty.
For buyers, I provide strategic target search support, curated opportunity screening, and hands-on guidance through the acquisition process. Whether the buyer is an individual operator, searcher, independent sponsor, or institutional capital source, I help refine acquisition criteria, identify aligned opportunities, evaluate positioning and valuation, and navigate the process from initial contact through LOI, diligence, and closing. Because I have spent time on the buyer side myself, I understand how important it is to separate signal from noise and focus attention on the opportunities most worth pursuing.
A major part of my value is process management. Transactions often stall because of inconsistent communication, poor positioning, unqualified counterparties, or deal fatigue. I work to reduce those issues by staying close to the process, anticipating obstacles early, and helping both sides stay focused on what matters. My strengths include buyer screening and qualification, CIM and narrative positioning, valuation framing, negotiation support, diligence coordination, and managing momentum through the most demanding parts of a transaction. I take confidentiality seriously. Many business owners are exploring a sale while still actively operating the company, and a poorly managed process can create unnecessary risk with employees, customers, vendors, or competitors. I help clients approach the market in a disciplined way that protects sensitive information while still generating meaningful interest from qualified parties. That balance matters, especially for founder-led and closely held businesses where trust and discretion are critical.I also believe that effective advisory work requires both professionalism and accessibility. Clients should feel that they have a serious advocate in their corner, but also someone they can speak with openly and directly. I aim to bring a premium level of execution without losing the practical, entrepreneurial mindset that owners and buyers value. Deals are rarely linear, and clients benefit most from an advisor who can stay calm, communicate clearly, and keep moving when challenges arise.
If you are a business owner thinking about a sale, I can help you assess value, think through positioning, and prepare for a disciplined, confidential process. If you are a buyer seeking acquisition opportunities, I can help refine your search, identify fit, and navigate the transaction process with better structure and clarity. In either case, my objective is the same: to help you make sound decisions and move toward the right transaction with confidence.usiness owners considering an exit, buyers evaluating acquisition opportunities, and clients who want a practical discussion around valuation, process, and what it takes to get a deal done.
