Ben Shaw is a franchise owner with Murphy Business Sales in Wilmington, North Carolina. He has worked as a business consultant focusing on profitability, management strategy, and marketing since 2008. Ben has also self-funded and bootstrapped several successful businesses over the years. Add in his advisory roles, these ventures span a variety of industries: supplements, property management, digital, tech, restaurants, bars, events, and marketing.

Ben has called Wilmington his home for 20 years and lives in downtown Wilmington. He is involved in several organizations and is an active part of the downtown community. He enjoys staying active outdoors, travel, cooking, and the local food & entertainment scene.
Ben grew up in Ohio and attended Wright State University, earning a B.S. in Marketing and a B.S. in Business Management. He is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and the Carolinas-Virginia Business Broker Association.
