Broker Biography
Introduction
Matthew Porter has been an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Industry since 2013,
where he quickly learned the importance of understanding his client’s needs to execute their goals
while overcoming various obstacles.
Currently, Matthew specializes in gas stations and retail investment sales, having successfully closed
over 171 transactions. His passion lies in building strong relationships while navigating the everchanging
commercial real estate industry. Throughout his career, Matthew has sold numerous
properties, including Chevron, Shell, Phillips 66, Exxon, 7-Eleven, Sinclair, Maverik, Texaco, Conoco,
Arby’s, McDonald’s, Kroger, Family Dollar, and others.
Matthew’s achievements as a finalist for CCIM’s Retail Broker Excellence Award in 2018 and
CCIM’s Specialty Broker Excellence Award in 2022, 2023, and 2024 demonstrate his outstanding
performance in the industry. These nominations are a recognition of his expertise and skill as
a broker, and they reflect his commitment to excellence in his profession. His background and
upbringing on a farm in Idaho have instilled in him core values such as hard work, determination,
and persistence, which he continues to apply in his commercial real estate career.
