History of the Business Kenneth Struve started a business in 1946 with various aspects including painting. He first built the little store -5- 5th Street, then built the existing building 501 N Broadway, to house the paint store. As time went on wallpaper, picture framing and art gallery were added followed by window treatments. The framing and art department were dropped when the window treatment department was added in the lae 70's. In the 80's Bruce Struve started buying the business from his father. Products and Companies Benjamin Moore Paint has been the main paint line for most of the time. Other lines were added, but are no longer carried.
