Daniel is the founder of McCraine Associates, a business and marketing strategy company. He helps hurried, worried, and buried business owners 10x their business without the headaches, hangups, or hiccups. Daniel’s work has helped companies save or make over $27 million in capital and expenses. He has been called the Maestro of Business and the “Marcus Lemonis of Des Moines.” Daniel is a business coach and a nationally recognized, award-winning training professional. He has extensive experience as a consultant and facilitator with over 25 years of experience. He earned his Master’s degree at Drake University. Daniel is the author of The Small Business Guide series, Your First 100 Days Blueprint, 5 Circles of Influence and the Business Pivot Guide. He is the founder of New Manager Mastermind, the host of Feed Your Mind and It's The Bottom Line That Matters podcast. Daniel is an Eagle Scout, a musician at Grace Church in Des Moines, and a member of FuseDSM Chamber of Commerce.

For over 20 years, I developed, implemented, and managed employment-based welfare benefit, retirement, and executive benefit programs as an insurance broker, serving Midwestern companies. I retired from this independent commercial insurance agency as a Stockholder and Board member. After retiring, I served as Director of Development and Community Relations for a faith-based not-for-profit retirement community. I created giving programs for annual and Legacy gifts for this organization’s capital, operation, and endowment needs. Returning to for-profit, I represented a central Iowa business brokerage firm as an independent sales agent. When the office closed, I moved to an employee benefits agency where I concentrated on cash flow, debt reduction, income replacement, and other “ability” programs for professionals and business owners. Today, as a Certified Succession Professional and member of the International Society of Succession Planners (ISPA), I provide services to closely held business owners and their families during operation, succession, or sale.
