Broker Biography
Introduction
Tom Caltrider has been helping clients buy and sell businesses in Hawaii since 2006 and prior to this he had 29 years of very broad business leadership experience. His last corporate position was as Senior Vice President of Johns Manville in Denver responsible for the $1 billion fiberglass insulation business. Prior to that he was President and CEO of Gundle Environmental Services in Houston; Vice President of GE Plastics Pacific based in Singapore; and, Vice President of Petrochemicals for Borg-Warner Chemicals. He has a strong background in general business leadership, sales, marketing, finance, investment banking, business development, purchasing, and business valuation, all of which are employed in the complex endeavor of buying and selling businesses, strategic planning and exit planning.
Tom received an MBA from Ohio University, attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School and has a BS in business from the University of Maryland.
Tom has been very active in the Hawaii business community as Past President of the Rotary Club of Maui, statewide leader of the Rotary RYLA program, member of the Board of Directors of Lokahi Pacific Rural Development, Inc. and as a member of the Maui Executives Association and the Maui Chamber of Commerce.
Tom is also associated with Corporate Development Capital, LLC, a boutique investment bank /broker-dealer located in Colorado, he has FINRA 63 and 79 licenses and he provides a full range of investment banking services to clients in Hawaii and on the US mainland.
