I’m a Business Broker serving the Central Valley, Monterey Bay, and Santa Cruz regions, helping business owners navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives—the sale or purchase of a business. My approach is hands-on, transparent, and rooted in both financial expertise and real-world experience working with small and midsize business owners. Who I Work With I primarily support owners of service-based, retail, construction, automotive, food & beverage, and home-based businesses. Whether you’re preparing to sell, exploring your exit plan, or actively looking to acquire a business, my goal is to guide you clearly from start to finish. My Background Before becoming a Business Broker, I gained deep experience in: Business development & strategic partnerships Commercial lending and risk analysis Customer service leadership (Corollary Marketing) Financial systems, compliance, and cybersecurity (Higher Education) Hands-on technical fieldwork (Telecom & infrastructure) This unique mix gives me a holistic perspective—from operational realities to financial performance to what truly motivates buyers and sellers. I hold an MBA from San Jose State University and a strong analytical foundation from my B.S. in Computer Information Systems. What Sets Me Apart Clear financial storytelling: I break down P&Ls, tax returns, and bank statements to highlight true seller’s discretionary earnings (SDE) and cash flow. Realistic valuations: Pricing grounded in market comps and industry multiples—no inflated numbers designed to win listings. Local market insight: I live and work in the communities I serve, which means my buyer interactions and seller relationships are built on trust, not templates. Hands-on deal management: From NDA to closing table, I coordinate all communication with buyers, lenders, accountants, and attorneys. Strong communication: I ensure both sides stay informed, aligned, and respected throughout the transaction. Approach to Business Sales My process is structured but personal: Discovery & Financial Review – Understanding the business, its operations, and the owner’s goals. Valuation & Pricing Strategy – Recasting financials and presenting a realistic listing range. Confidential Marketing Campaign – BizBuySell listing, targeted buyer outreach, and multi-channel advertising. Buyer Qualification – Screening for fit, financial readiness, and experience. Offer & Negotiation – Structuring deals that protect and maximize seller value. Due Diligence Coordination – Ensuring a smooth flow of documents, timelines, and approvals. Closing & Transition – Supporting both parties through handover, training, and post-close steps. My Philosophy Selling a business isn’t just a financial transaction—it’s a transition of legacy, identity, and years of hard work. I treat every client with honesty, respect, and professionalism. My role is to simplify the complex, protect your interests, and help you achieve the best possible outcome. If you’re thinking about selling, buying, or want a realistic valuation without the pressure, I’m here to help you explore your options.
