Introduction

As a Business Broker with First Choice Business Brokers, I help entrepreneurs, business owners, and buyers navigate one of the most important financial decisions they will ever make.

My perspective comes from more than advising businesses. I have personally built, operated, and sold a company of my own.

I started a business from a garage operation and spent more than 22 years growing it into a successful company. Along the way, I experienced many of the same challenges faced by business owners today: hiring employees, managing growth, improving operations, making capital investments, serving customers, and building a business that could operate beyond the owner.

The company ultimately went through two venture capital acquisitions, giving me firsthand experience with business valuation, due diligence, negotiations, buyer expectations, and the realities of ownership transition. Having sat on both sides of the table, I understand the opportunities, concerns, and emotions that often accompany the sale or acquisition of a business.

That experience shapes how I work with clients today.

In addition to my own entrepreneurial journey, I have spent years working with small business owners on operations, process improvement, growth planning, and business performance. I understand that successful businesses are built through the day to day decisions owners make to serve customers, support employees, and create value.
