Benjamin Engel is the Managing Director of EDGE Business Advisors, where he leads a team of experienced M&A advisors dedicated to helping entrepreneurs buy and sell small and mid-sized businesses with confidence. With a deep background in private equity, commercial banking, and entrepreneurship, Benjamin has closed over $60 million in acquisitions and divestitures and managed a $50 million commercial loan portfolio during his career.
With a background in commercial banking and private equity, Benjamin brings a powerful combination of financial strategy, real-world business acumen, and deal-making expertise to every transaction. He is passionate about helping business owners preserve their wealth through successful exits, and he equips buyers with the tools and strategies needed to make wise acquisitions.
Benjamin is a serial entrepreneur and owner of multiple companies, including Trending Up Strategy (a marketing firm) and The Original Hot Dog Factory (a fast-casual franchisor). His diverse experiences allow him to relate to both buyers and sellers as someone who has been in their shoes.
