Broker Biography
Introduction
Chase Klaus brings nearly two decades of hands-on restaurant leadership to his role as a Certified Restaurant Broker with We Sell Restaurants in Charleston. His career spans quick-service concepts, nationally recognized fine dining, and award-winning hotels, giving him an in-depth understanding of what it takes to operate — and successfully transfer — a restaurant business.
Chase launched his career in Athens, Georgia, while attending the University of Georgia, quickly advancing into management with the FIVE/Chuck’s Fish family. He went on to serve as General Manager and partner across multiple concepts, leading teams in Mobile, Knoxville, and Charleston. In Charleston, he contributed to some of the city’s most acclaimed establishments, including Le Farfalle, Melfi’s, Butcher & Bee, and FIG. His expertise also extends to hospitality, having worked with The Loutrel, a boutique hotel ranked among the best in the nation, and later with Charlestowne Hotels in a corporate leadership role managing operational transitions.
Over his 19-year career, Chase has hired and developed teams, negotiated leases, streamlined operations, analyzed financials, and navigated both ownership and management responsibilities. This dual perspective — as both operator and owner — positions him as a skilled advocate for buyers and sellers. He understands the priorities of operators, investors, and landlords, enabling him to guide clients through complex transactions with confidence.
A Certified Restaurant Broker and member of the Carolinas–Virginia Business Broker Association (CVBBA) and the South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association (SCRLA), Chase combines operational expertise with specialized training in restaurant valuation, marketing, and deal structuring.
