Broker Biography
Introduction
Gary started Business Marketing Services, Inc. in 1998 in Western North Carolina after operating his own brokerage office for 4 ½ years in New York. He started his career in 1976 as a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Company in New York City. At Anderson, he worked with various clients on projects ranging from accounting system design to strategic planning. Following a break for graduate school, Gary joined Mobil Oil Corporation. At Mobil he held various positions including Commercial Credit Manager and Planning & Product Economics Supervisor and product Supply Analyst for the Far East. In 1987, Gary left Mobil and purchased a small manufacturing company in upstate New York through an experienced Business Intermediary. Simultaneously, Gary began his business brokerage career when he opened an office and affiliated with Country Business Inc. He ran this office in NY until relocating his business brokerage practice to western North Carolina after the sale of his manufacturing business in 1997.
Gary has a BS in Industrial Distribution from Clarkson College and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University. He has also taken numerous advanced courses in the practice of business valuation. Mr. See has been a member and accredited Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) of the International Business Brokers Association. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker with his own firm in western NC.
