Broker Biography
Introduction
Michelle Regner has been the founder and CEO of three SaaS technology companies that she grew and then sold. She is now President and owner of Business Brokers of America and has entered into a strategic partnership with Colorado Business Brokers and Orion Capital to offer regional business brokerage and coaching services.
In starting and growing her own companies, Michelle has learned the ups and downs of small business development and the drive it takes to run a business. Over the years, she has also coached dozens of her business clients in all aspects of digital growth strategies, including how to deal with the inevitable false starts and failures. She was born and raised in Silicon Valley, got her B.A. degree in Business from Notre Dame de Namur University near San Francisco, and landed her first job with Morgan Stanley, before deciding to pursue her own entrepreneurial dreams.
In 2014, Michelle was interviewed for a feature article in Fast Company magazine and, that same year, was named one of the top “social” business leaders in The Economist. She hosted a five-year running podcast and has spoken at notable events around the world on current trends in leadership evolution, collaborative marketing strategies and the automation of operations.
Most recently, she moved from San Francisco to Salt Lake City with her husband, Doug, and their three young sons. After 15 years of starting and selling tech ventures, she has decided to make a longer career of coaching and selling small businesses.
