Class 33 liquor licenses are known as “on-premises” licenses. They permit the holder to serve all types of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine and hard liquor) for consumption on the holder’s premises. In addition, the holder has limited package goods privileges. These licenses may be transferred within a municipality subject to local zoning laws. If a buyer does not yet have a location, the license can be purchased and held as a pocket license until a site is identified. The license can be used in a restaurant, bar, night club or hotel.
